About

Clinical psychologist based in Uvira, eastern DRC, with a licence in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kisangani (2010). Has over a decade of experience in MHPSS and staff care within humanitarian and conflict-affected settings. His career spans work with major organisations including MSF-Holland and MSF-Spain (as a staff care consultant in Bukavu and Uvira), GIZ (psychological support to teams in Uganda), Fondation Panzi, and the American Bar Association. He spent nearly five years with Mamas for Africa as a clinical psychologist and psychosocial supervisor, supporting women survivors of sexual and gender-based violence in eastern DRC. He is the founder of CCAP-Uvira (Clinique de Consultance et d'Assistance Psychologique), and his areas of expertise include conflict-context MHPSS, trauma-informed community-based healing, solution-focused brief therapy, and traumatic stress relief techniques.
