73 downloads
Overview
This compendium provides a comprehensive overview of the EQUIP competency assessment tools, including their development, evidence base and practical application. EQUIP (Ensuring Quality in Psychosocial and Mental Health Care) is a WHO and UNICEF initiative to strengthen the quality of mental health care through competency-based training and supervision. The compendium brings together guidance on how the tools can be integrated into training and supervision, alongside the foundational tools themselves and information on additional remote, intervention-specific and treatment-specific tools and how to access them. Designed as a practical resource, it supports those implementing competency-based approaches to strengthen skills and ensure consistent, high-quality mental health care.
